Attacking the Banana Trees

    This week was amazing! We have three people that are progressing really well!!  This area is looking a lot better!  Transfers are next week, but usually zone leaders stay together for three or four months before one of them gets transferred--so hopefully, Elder Crosland doesn’t go anywhere. We also helped an elderly Iban lady this week.  She wanted us to clean up the outside of her hut (it was quite a mess). We had so much fun though. My  job was to take a sword and chop down the banana trees.  Of course, it started pouring down rain, but we kept working hard and managed to get quite a lot done.

      It is crazy how fast time flies; four of us celebrated our one year anniversary this week!  We went and ate at Steamboat (it’s a restaurant like the Melting Pot.)  IT WAS AMAZING!!  I think they hated us there because Asian people don’t eat a lot and the four of us basically ate all the food that they had!

     Every thing else here is the same old, same old--the Sisters are still driving me crazy; and, I am still getting fat, so yea--nothing is new. Today, we are going to go exploring in the jungle, so that should be exciting!

     There is another big group of missionaries going home next week so now there are only two other big groups and then us!! Scary! But, I miss you momma and don’t worry! July 3, 2014--put it down your calendar!!
