Singapore, Here He Is!

     After what I am sure was a long exhausting flight, Elder Madsen made it to Singapore!  He left Sunday afternoon from Salt Lake City and arrived in Singapore on Wednesday--completely skipping Tuesday because he crossed the International Date Line.  Elder Madsen was picked up at the airport by his mission president and his wife, President and Sister Mains. 

     We haven't heard from Michael, but this picture with President and Sister Mains was sent to us on Wednesday.  I think that my height-challenged son is in a good place because he is looking a little taller to me!               Martha

  **Elder Madsen's new preparation day is on Monday, which is our Sunday (he is about 18 hours ahead of the Central Time Zone).  I'm guessing that email is the best way to write him; so, if you want to write him, he will be able to read your email on Monday.  His email is madsen.michael@myldsmail.net.
